Drs. Samantha Harden and Connie Tompkins along with PhD student Kristin Jett will lead the talk in exploring the contexts of Gold-level Exercise is Medicine On Campus (EIM-OC) programs. They will provide an overview of how these programs implement exercise referral schemes and their success to better understand what resources are needed for current and aspiring EIM-OC programs. This insightful talk will highlight research findings on EIM-OC programs’ reach, effectiveness, adoption, implementation, and maintenance (RE-AIM) to provide actionable steps toward improving program success. The talk will conclude with Lisa Leininger and Neil Peterson, current co-chairs of the EIM-OC committee, joining in to have a discussion of EIM-OC program experiences related to these findings.
