ACSM-India Credentialed Personal Fitness Trainer 

The ACSM-India Credentialed Personal Fitness Trainer is designed for fitness professionals who have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and intend to work with apparently healthy individuals and those with stable health challenges to enhance fitness in India. By the end of the course, credential holders will be knowledgeable in conducting initial client consultations and assessments, developing and implementing exercise programming, and understanding exercise leadership, client education, as well as Indian professional and legal responsibilities.

Additional Information

Those who successfully complete the Exercise Science Academy credentialing program may work as an exercise professional solely in India. Exercise professionals must follow all regulations and requirements to practice in India.

ACSM-India credential holders who seek international portability must complete the additional requirements:

Schedule: ACSM India personal fitness trainer credential holder must request to take the International ACSM-CPT through ESA
Pass: successfully pass the ACSM-CPT certification exam at Pearson VUE
Pass: successfully pass the ACSM-ESA practical exam
Request: a portability letter from the US Registry of Exercise Professionals

All ACSM-India credential holders must purchase the ACSM certification exam vouchers directly from Exercise Science Academy. Exercise Science Academy performance assessments must by scheduled with Exercise Science Academy staff. Pricing and availability may vary.
