ACSM has 11 regional chapters, all offering educational, professional and networking opportunities closer to home. Regional chapters also provide an opportunity for young professionals to present their work and apply for regional awards and grants. Most chapters also participate in the “President’s Cup” to identify the best student abstract at each regional meeting. In addition to outstanding presentations by students and faculty, many chapters will have themed meetings or sessions, and there will be numerous keynote lectures by prominent leaders in the field.
